C'est une version test sortie récemment.<br/>
Cette version test a permis d'arrêter l'interface Unity pour passer sous Gnome 3.26.<br/>
Le nouveau nom du bureau est Artful Aardvark. <br/>

Une grande modification est que l'on ne peut plus lancer d'applications graphiques en tant qu'administrateur (cela est fait exprès).<br/>
Egalement, pas de partage d'écran, (ex TeamViewer) il faut maintenant utiliser Xorg.<br/>
Pas de Tint2 ni de Cairo. Utilisez des extensions GNOME Shell comme tout le monde.<br/>
Peu de logiciels de capture d'écran sont compatibles.<br/>

D'autres problèmes ont été rencontrés, et comme c'est une version test il n'y a pas de plateforme.<br/>
